ADOPTED!

“FREEDOM” can have many meanings, in this case, we are happy to announce our first foster to WCLRR! Meet “FREEDOM”, a 2-year-old female lab. Freedom was freed from a high kill shelter because her family stated they didn’t have time for her. Freedom also arrived just time to celebrate the 4th of July as a WCLRR family member.

Freedom is currently getting very comfortable at her fosters home and she is loving the attention she is getting,  we believe she did not get a lot of affection in her previous home because she is craving it now.  She loves being petted and giving kisses and is just so sweet showing how appreciative she is being rescued!

Freedom has already mastered the doggy door and appears to be housebroken.  She also slept through the night on a nice fluffy doggy bed next to her foster mom.  Freedom is currently fostered with another young female Labrador and a small dog.  As she is getting used to the attention and she is also learning how to share toys and the affection with the other dogs in the house.

Freedom is a beautiful young girl who knows some basic commands but will benefit from some additional training.  She has also been interested in the counters at her fosters home.  It is very important to keep counters clear of everything, if there is nothing on the counter for her to get then she will stop looking for items to get to. Freedom loves taking walks and would be a great walking partner or hiking partner.  She is a young dog that will need her exercise and will be great fun for the entire family.

Freedom is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots.
