Hello Ace, a handsome male 6-7- year old who is a little silly, a little goofy, and just a great boy.

Ace sat at the shelter, confused, wondering why his life has changed so much in a short amount of time. Ace’s owner passed away leaving him alone and wondering why things changed for him.  Ace was brought to the shelter because no arrangements were made on who would care for Ace in the event his owner could no longer care for him.  Please consider this when adopting a pet, what would happen to your loved pet if you could no longer care for them.

This is when WCLRR stepped up and Ace has never looked back.  Ace is a well-adjusted boy who just is needing a family that will make him a priority.  Ace needs attention, which isn’t hard with how adorable he is.  Ace loves his people, and his people will love him.  His foster family has fallen deeply for this big guy and really want him to find a home that will adore him as they do.

Ace is a medium energy boy; he loves to chase the squirrels in his foster home, we think that he would also chase cats, so no kitties for Ace. He also spent time with some small dogs and big dogs and got along great with all of them. But Ace can also be protective of his people. We believe that he would do well as an only dog so he can have all the family’s love and attention.

Ace is housebroken and crate trained, but his foster said he does excellent sleeping all night outside of the crate in one of the bedrooms with the family. Ace wants to be part of a family, loved, cherished, and adored as his previous owner did. It won’t be hard to do as Ace is so sweet and is a gentle soul.

Ace knows basic commands and will take treats very gently out of your hand. Ace walks beautifully on a leash and loves to take daily walks meeting new people and dogs along the way. He is a very handsome boy and gets compliments wherever the goes.

Ace is neutered, microchipped, and current on all his vaccines. Now, all that Ace needs is his new loving family.
