ADOPTED!
Liberty is a four-year-old female yellow Labrador. She’s what is known as a Dudley, meaning she lacks pigmentation on the eyes, eye rims, muzzle, and nose. These features are a genetic trait which is very rare and affects only the yellow Labrador retrievers. She is stunning.
Liberty was spotted at a local high kill shelter by one of our volunteers. Her previous owners never claimed her, so we stepped in and took her into our foster care. She went from the shelter directly to the vet for her spay, dental, and complete check-up.
Liberty loves to play fetch. She’s so good at it she can catch the ball in the air. She’s fond of almost any toy. Liberty’s favorite thing is lounging on the couch and chilling out with her foster family. She is very affectionate and wants to be part of the families daily routine and activities.
Liberty loves going on her walks, and she could enjoy hikes as well. Liberty loves people and dogs. She is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go out with either a little whine going to the door! Liberty has been left alone and has no destructive tendencies have been demonstrated while in her foster home.
Liberty would love to be part of a family that would take her out to visit people. She recently went to a softball game, and she was the hit of the crowd. Everyone was taking turns petting her, and she loved the attention. We’re sure she would like to have another friendly companion around to play ‘fetch’! A ‘Chuck It’ is a must for this girl! But as much as Liberty loves to play, she also settles perfectly. Truly a great all-around dog.
Liberty was recently spayed and had a dental cleaning. She is also up to date on her shots and microchipped.
