ADOPTED!

Lucy is an adorable three-year-old female Labrador. She considered a Dudley, which is a yellow labrador with chocolate undertones. Notice her brown/pink nose! We love Dudleys. It gives an extra cuteness to there looks.

Lucy is relaxing in her beautiful foster home. She is currently fostered with two other labradors and having a blast playing in the doggie pool and wrestling with her foster pals.

Lucy knows basic commands, such as sit, down, and stay. She does pull on a leash, and her foster mom is using a prong collar teaching her not to pull. Her new family will need to continue to work with her. A pinch collar can be used during training until she learns not to pull. Lucy is completely housetrained and sleeps all night on a doggie bed alongside her fosters.

We think Lucy needs to go to a home with another dog and a family that will exercise her. Lucy is on the medium energy level, a long walk in the morning, some play in the afternoon and maybe a walk in the evening. Lucy would also be a good companion for running errands, the local coffee shop where she can meet new people, perhaps the doggy beach and hikes.

Lucy has seen our vet for an exam, and she received a clean bill of health. She could lose a few pounds, which will be easy with a proper diet and some exercise.

Lucy came from a family that loved her, but had a baby and found that they couldn’t devote the time that Lucy deserved. They did what they thought was best for Lucy and rehomed her. We are positive that we will find Lucy the best home that will cherish and love her forever.

Lucy is spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped.
