ADOPTED!
Meet Fender – he’s a cute pint-size male yellow Labrador. His smaller size makes him look like a puppy. However, Fender is approx 6 yrs old and adorable.
Fender is looking for a family that will make sure that he gets the attention he deserves. We believe the former owners kept Fender outside, and he is now learning that being inside. He was filthy and looked like he had not been brushed or groomed in some time. He received a bath first thing and a much-needed brushing, which he loved!
Fender is a low to medium energy dog, who enjoys going on walks and gathering in the sights and sounds. He does well on the leash without pulling. Fender also loves to play fetch. His new family should purchase a “Chuck It” to throw the ball for him.
Fender is doing well with his housebreaking. He is also learning crate training. It’s the best way to make sure he is trustworthy in the house and helps with the continued potty training.
Fender stays with a Golden Retriever and a cat. He gets along with both in addition to the foster family’s children. We believe Fender would like a home with another canine companion to keep him company. A home with someone that is around most the time and can give him lots of attention and love would be great too.
Fender has had his complete veterinarian exam, including a full blood panel and urine analysis. We are happy to say he is in excellent health. Fender is neutered and up to date on his shots and microchipped.
