ADOPTED!

Meet Allison, a 5-6-year-old petite female Labrador. Allison’s previous owner passed away, and the family members could not care for her, so WCLRR gladly took her in.

Allison is a low-medium energy girl. We don’t know much about her past, but we believe she was loved and cared for based on her current behavior. Allison is well mannered, gentle, and sweet. Her foster parents think she’s to perfect.

Allison is not food or toy aggressive. She takes treats well and has no issues sharing. She is learning to play with toys and chasing the ball and is starting to enjoy it.

Allison loves her people. She is a Velcro dog in the right way. Allison loves to sit on the couch with her foster parents while they watch TV and follow them around the house while they do random stuff. She is adorable; and will lightly touch you with her nose to let you know she is there.

Allison would probably love to snuggle in bed, but she appears fine sleeping on the couch or dog bed. She would do great in a home where someone is home most of the time. Allison is pretty low key, so she should not go to a home where there can be too much excitement or a lot of loud activity.

Allison is potty trained, but she is still learning to use the doggy door. She will stand at the door if she needs to go out. She is still learning to use stairs, so if she goes to a home with stairs, you will need to work with her, and you may need to invite her up.

Allison is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She had a complete exam, bloodwork, fecal, and urine tested. Allison is in excellent health and ready for her new home.  She is a little overweight for her size, so her new family will want to continue to work with her on managing her diet.
