ADOPTED!
Meet Eddie! He is a young pup at five months old! Eddie is still growing into his ears and paws! He is so adorable that you can’t help falling in love with him.
Eddie was surrendered at a high kill shelter by his owners who were not supposed to have a dog in their rental. There are rescues such as WCLRR that they could have contacted before dropping this innocent boy at a county shelter. We are lucky that we had a volunteer able to run to the shelter and get him.
Eddie is working on his housebreaking and doing so well. His foster mom said he is almost 100% perfect. Eddie also walks well on a leash and is learning many basic commands. He is a smart boy who loves doing the training and getting the rewards for being a good boy.
When Eddie first came to us, his foster indicated that he was a little shy and timid. Now he is gaining his confidence. He is coming around to be a well-adjusted puppy.
Eddie is all puppy, and his new home must make sure their home is puppy-proofed. All small items put away, and electrical cords hidden. His new family should have a large assortment of appropriate chew toys, such as Kongs and Nylabones.
Eddie is crate trained and good with all dogs, cats, and children. He is not a jumper and is very gentle. Eddie would be an excellent addition to a home with children and a family that will make sure he gets the necessary training and activity. Puppies are active, a walk around the block will NOT be enough for Eddie or any young dog. Hikes, jogging partner, playing fetch, and long walks are suitable activities for Eddie to enjoy with his new family.
Eddie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
