ADOPTED!
Meet Delany. She is a 4-5-year-old yellow female lab. Delany is loving, kind, and so gentle. Her foster says it looks like when she is happy, she’ll squint and smile!
Delany came to WCLRR when a volunteer spotted her at a high kill shelter. Once she was available, WCLRR sent a volunteer to get her out. It looks like Delany possibly had a litter of puppies recently.
Delany loves long walks and meeting people and other dogs along the way. She pulls slightly on a leash but is very eager to learn and, with some training, will be a pro in no time.
We believe Delany would like to be in a home with another canine, but she is so easy going she may also be happy in a home where someone is home most the time. Delany is also delighted to be snuggling on the couch watching TV.
Delany is a great house guest and has learned the routine for going outside and is doing great on her housebreaking. She likes children, dogs; however, we have not been able to “cat test” her.
Delany is not food or toy aggressive. She loves playing ball and is learning to “drop it” when retrieving! She is eager to please and learn and a happy lab.
Delany is microchipped, up to date on her shots, and spayed.
