ADOPTED!

Meet Nora! She is an approximately 1 – 1/12-year-old petite black female Labrador Retriever weighing 50 lbs. She is adorable and darling.

WCLRR rescued Nora from a high kill shelter in the Inland Empire. Without hesitation, we knew she needed to get out of there as soon as possible. Nora is calm, affectionate, well mannered, and loving to everyone she meets. A stranger is simply another friend she hasn’t met before. Nora knows basic commands and has excellent house manners. She is housebroken and sleeps all night on her doggy bed next to the other dogs at her foster home.

Nora also walks well on a leash. She does minimal pulling and greets other dogs well. Nora doesn’t seem to mind the kitties in her foster home. Most of the time, she will completely ignore them; other times, she will show a little interest in them. Nora loves chewing on a bone, and she is starting to play with some toys that she has at her disposal in her foster home. Her new family should have some Nylabones, Kong’s, and other safe and healthy toys for her.

Nora is spayed. However, she got an infection at the shelter before WCLRR rescued her. Our vet treated her, and she is all better. Nora also had an ear infection and came down with kennel cough, which is typical for shelter dogs. Her foster mom has been treating her, and now she is on the mend, looking for her forever home.

Nora is a “people” dog and craves lots of affection. She will do well with another dog playing with her. A family member at home a lot would be great as well. She does fine left alone for short periods, but she is in a house with other dogs, so we are not sure how she is by herself.

Nora is spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped.
