ADOPTED!

Meet Oscar! He is a cute Labby boy of approximately 1 ½ years old, and he is a joy to have around. Oscar came to us from a shelter in the desert where a family adopted him. He developed a hematoma a few days after his neuter surgery, and the family returned him to the shelter, indicating that they couldn’t afford medical care for him.

Oscar loves the dogs at his foster home and loves to play with them, even the little dogs. He seems uninterested in the kitties as well. Oscar has a funny sidestep to his walk when excited, which is extremely cute. Our veterinarian checked him entirely over to make sure he didn’t have any underlying issues, and there’s nothing to indicate any problems, it’s merely his little personality coming out when he is excited.

Oscar is housebroken and sleeps all night on a doggy bed next to the other dogs. He is also enjoying doggy toys and loves picking out his favorite squeaky toy to toss around. He doesn’t understand the game of fetch but keeps watching, and he will soon figure it out.

Oscar needs to go to a home where he will receive attention and a lot of playtimes. Once he has had his exercise, he settles nicely in the house and will cuddle up on a doggy bed or be a couch potato. Oscar does well in the car. He would be a great errand buddy with his new family.

Oscar is on the small side, approximately 45 lbs, and a pleasure to have around. He has been neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots.
