ADOPTED!

Meet Sabrina! She is a 5-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever who we rescued from a breeder who is no longer breeding dogs. We are excited to welcome Sabrina to the WCLRR family and help her find a great home.

Sabrina spent her formative years caring for her puppies, which has made her incredibly selfless, easy going and above all, very loving.

Sabrina is a calm, sweet, and gentle soul, who loves her toys. In the few weeks her foster parents have had her, she has come into her own. She loves to snuggle (prefers lying next to you on the couch), but she has a playful side to her as well.

Sabrina loves a nice long walk, and she gets so excited when you put her collar on and walks well on the leash as well. However, she does zig-zag, which will be an easy fix with a little leash training. Walking is an excellent exercise for her because she does have a little bit of weight to lose.

Sabrina is on a healthy diet now to help get those extra pounds off is her. She loves frozen peas, bananas & apples, which her foster parents have been feeding her with her food to supplement her diet. Sabrina is on her way to getting into better shape, and pretty athletic despite the excess weight. She’ll be ready for adventures after she sheds a few pounds.

Sabrina sleeps through the night (and then some!) and is completely house-trained. She gets along great with other dogs and loves people. She is not food or toy possessive either.

This angel is the only dog at her foster parents’ home currently, and she seems to love it, though she would seemingly welcome some dog company. We believe that Sabrina could fit into almost any loving home and would be the perfect fit; she’s SO easy to love.

Sabrina is spayed, a microchipped will be sent to the new family, and up to date on her shots. She is ready to meet her forever family.
