Meet Brenda! She is a four-year-old Golden Retriever who smiles ear to ear, is sweet as pie, and is a real showstopper.

Brenda was used for breeding but was spayed upon entering the rescue and has since recovered entirely from surgery. She spent her formative years caring for her puppies, which has made her incredibly selfless and loving.

Brenda is a happy dog, and her tail wags nonstop, making everyone around her happy too! She has a big personality and is very funny. Her favorite place is by your side, and Brenda will often position herself snuggled right next to you – whether it be the couch, bed, or park bench. She LOVES the beach and prefers to sit in a beach chair like a human to watch the sunset.

Brenda is a calm, sweet, and gentle soul, who is wise beyond her years. She’d rather be lounging than playing fetch but enjoys a good walk and does get spurts of energy when she feels extra playful.

She has some weight to lose, and once she does, we bet she’ll love long walks even more. The favorite part of her walks is saying “Hi” to all of the people and dogs she passes. Brenda is very social and very popular with her neighborhood fur friends!

Brenda is completely house-trained. She gets along great with other dogs and LOVES people. Brenda is not food or toy aggressive. She’s great on walks, though she would benefit from some leash training. She does a little zigging and zagging but is getting better every day.

This sweet angel is the only dog at her foster parents’ home currently, and she seems to love it, though she would probably welcome some dog company. Given that she loves people so much, her furever home ideally has someone home most of the time. She’s going to make her furever family very happy!

Brenda is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped.
