ADOPTED!

Meet Lacie! She is a beautiful three-year-old female yellow Labrador Retriever. She is known as a Dudley. Lacie is a sweet little girl with a definite goofy side. You’ll rarely see her without a toy or ball in her mouth as she runs around the house or the backyard.

Lacie is currently fostered in a home with three small dogs and a cat. They all get along very well and sleep in the same room. She sleeps all night and waits patiently for her turn to eat meals with the rest of the four-legged family. Lacie is house trained and will use the dog door to take care of business. She loves running around the backyard and works very hard to make sure no birds land in her territory.

Lacie is a counter surfer, so her new home will need to make sure that no food, medications of any type, or other harmful items are left on the table or counters. She also likes to dig in trash cans for treasures, so keeping the food trash can in a cabinet is mandatory.

Lacie loves to go for walks but is learning how to walk on a leash. She pulls quite a bit and is surprisingly strong for her size. Lacie loves to play in the backyard. She is working on dropping the ball when she comes back, but her foster family has found a treat does the trick.

We consider she has a lot of potential with her sweet personality, and she is a smart girl who will be easy to train, especially since she is treat motivated.

Lacie would be fine as an only dog in the home as long as her family doesn’t leave her for an extended period. She would also be great in a house with other dogs, big and small.

Lacie has been spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.
