ADOPTED!
Meet Vincent! He is a stunning three-year-old yellow male Labrador Retriever that is sweet, loving, and handsome. Vincent is almost white (but is considered yellow).
Vincent came to us when he was listed as a stray from a high kill shelter with severe flystrike on one ear. It has since healed, and his hair is growing back. We believe Vincent was an outside dog and not exposed to many things as he was shy and timid. He is now a delighted, curious dog and quick to wag his tail.
Vincent is fostered in a home with an older Labrador who has helped to teach Vincent how good life can be. He has learned how to use the dog door and has become comfortable in the house. He walks well on a leash and is learning not to pull. Vincent will sleep on a dog bed in your bedroom but will join you on your bed if invited.
Vincent is a well behaved, medium energy boy who loves tennis balls, playing fetch, and returning the ball to keep playing. He is not toy or food aggressive. He takes treats gently as he gives his right paw. He is good with small and large dogs. Vincent bonds strongly with his person, following their every move.
Vincent is good with children and knows some commands, including sit, down, out, gentle. He rides nicely in the car and will jump right in. Caution should be taken when opening house doors/gates as Vincent may try to exit. We believe Vincent would love a home with another dog but would be fine as an only if his people were home most of the time.
Vincent is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped.
