ADOPTED!
Meet Tony! He is an 11-month-old Golden/Labrador Retriever mix. Tony is a big boy, on the larger side of those breeds, and is gorgeous. Tony is very mild-mannered for a pup so young. However, he will need training in all areas of basic obedience. Tony is good on leash but could use more consistent practice there too.
Tony is not too keen on crating. But if crating is needed, we’re sure he could learn to enjoy and be comfortable in a crate with proper training.
Tony is thoroughly house trained. However, all dogs could have an accident in their new home while learning a new routine.
Tony enjoys playing with other dogs his size but has been too pushy for smaller dogs and is not cat friendly. He chases towards cats. Indoors you will find him calm and easygoing. Tony would much rather be indoors. He also wants rope or a tug toy to share with other dogs.
Although Tony has good house manners most of the time, he knows what “people food” is, and he will surf the counter for it, and he might even jump up to grab something from your hand if he thinks it is food. Because of this, a home with smaller children is not recommended.
Tony prefers to sleep in the same room with his people, either in the bed or dog bed in the same place. Tony is well behaved in the car and rides quietly. He loves hanging out and watching you work. He is never very far from you.
Tony is a pleaser. He wants to be your buddy as he wants to watch TV with you, go for a car ride, sit with his head in your lap, and lay at your feet. He doesn’t require a lot to be a happy, contented boy.
Tony is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped.
