ADOPTED!
Meet Coco! She has a spirit like no other! Coco is a black three-year-old female Labrador Retriever full of passion and zest for life that’s hard to come by in a dog. Equal to her zeal for life is her sweet, sensitive heart that wishes for a permanent home to call her own.
Coco is crate trained, house trained, and obedience trained with additional “life skills” training. She has been taught over 25 cue words and concepts and can learn MANY more as she advances. She is extraordinarily bright and loves to work hard and play hard. Coco has a snuggly, cuddly side that is unparalleled.
Coco requires a particular home environment. She will need an existing dog in the home to show her the ropes. Your current dog’s temperament must be calm and confident to help ease Coco into family life.
Coco requires VERY high walls in your yard, eight feet or higher, or if you have a private tennis court, it could work as well. Additionally, Coco needs a family with older children because Coco is a high flight risk. We cannot have any doors accidentally opened. Families who are seasoned dog owners, patient, and willing to work with her trainers to ensure a smooth transition are a must.
In the beginning phases of her adoption, she will need an outside kennel with a roof on it for potty breaks. Eventually, Coco will be a regular dog with the right amount of training in place. For now, she is a work in progress.
Coco is an exceptional girl who is worthy of your love. She, in turn, will promise to love and adore you for every day of her life.
Coco has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her vaccines.
