ADOPTED!

Meet Alex! He is an adorable 10-month-old male yellow (almost white) Labrador Retriever puppy! Alex was surrendered to WCLRR when his family had a sudden and unexpected change in their living arrangements and had to make the tough decision that Alex should go to a home that could dedicate itself to raising a puppy.

Alex’s new family will need to “puppy proof” their home, making sure nothing is left out that could harm him. Medicines, electrical cords, shoes, socks, remotes, and eyeglasses are some things.

Alex will also need a supply of chew toys in his new home. We recommend Nylabones and Kong’s as appropriate chew toys for a dog. Alex has been seen and caught checking out the kitchen trash. His new home must have the trash in a locking container or under the sink.

Alex is food motivated, so his new family should feed him with a “slow feeder” bowl, helping slow him down. Alex is food and treats motivated, so training him should be easy. Alex will need all the training that all puppies and adult dogs require. He is working on his potty training, and his new family needs to continue working on a routine with him once he is in his new home.

Alex is up to date on all of his shots, neutered and microchipped.
