ADOPTED!
Meet Boston! He’s a handsome, mellow male black Labrador Retriever, approximately eight years old. Boston was surrendered to WCLRR when his family found that a new baby and young children made it difficult for them to give him the care he deserved.
Boston came to WCLRR with ear infections and a small mass. The ears have been treated and are healing well, and the mass was removed. However, his new family needs to watch for new bumps and have them checked by their vet.
Boston loves to be loved by people and other dogs. He is happy to hang out with his people, snuggling and getting lots of attention, and gets along very well with his foster’s three labs. Boston also enjoys getting out to meet new people and dogs. He loves the dog park, where he happily plays with others and runs to the fence to say goodbye to his favorite dogs and people as they leave!
Boston’s ideal home would be one where someone is home most of the time. Of course, he would love to have dog companions to play with and keep him company, but if he is the only dog, he will enjoy spending time with other pups by occasionally going to doggy daycare or perhaps pack walks with a trainer.
Boston has not been tested with cats. However, he does have some dietary needs and is on prescription dog food.
Boston is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped.
