ADOPTED!

Meet Cash! He is a sweet senior male chocolate English Labrador Retriever around 11-12 years old, with lots of love to give! Cash is on the stocky side with short legs, and he has a shiny, thick brown coat and beautiful eyes. He came to WCLRR as a stray from a shelter after his family didn’t pick him up.

Cash is a low-energy boy that is very calm. He adores people and is very trusting and friendly. He loves to be loved and gets very excited with someone wants to pet him. Cash hasn’t shown much interest in toys, although he does enjoy walks with his people. He is pretty happy to nap during the day when his family is busy with other things.

Cash knows a few commands, including sit. He is house-trained and crate trained. He sleeps in a crate in a separate room at night from his people. He patiently waits until his people get up to let him out to start his day.

Cash is very friendly with other dogs and gets on well with the dogs in his foster home. He has shown some signs of resource guarding when it comes to food. If his new family has another pup, they should feed the dogs in separate locations to ensure that there aren’t any problems.

Cash’s ideal home would be one with a secure yard and someone home all the time. Cash would do well with any individual, couple, or family. Since he is a pretty low-energy pup, he would be a lovely companion for an older couple who will take him for walks, spend time with him, and give him love. He would be happiest as the only dog that can be the center of attention for his new family.

Cash is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and is microchipped. When Cash came to WCLRR, he had a benign lipoma removed, as well as a complete dental exam.
