ADOPTED!

Meet Scooby! She is a gentle, medium-sized female yellow Labrador Retriever, approximately ten years old. Scooby has a lovely golden coat and beautiful eyes. Scooby surrendered to WCLRR when her family moved and couldn’t take her with them. She has had a complete senior exam and blood work with good results.

Scooby is a medium-activity dog. She is happy to hang out inside with her people but also enjoys going for walks, car rides, and to the park. She loves playing fetch with tennis balls! Scooby is an intelligent girl and understands cues like “it’s time to eat” or “let’s go for a ride!” Scooby gets along well with other dogs that she meets and enjoys their company.

Scooby understands “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” She walks well on the leash. She sometimes pulls a bit but is easily corrected. She is house-trained and hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home.

Scooby sleeps quietly through the night on a dog bed in her foster’s bedroom. Then, she will wait patiently for her people to wake up in the morning to start their day.

Scooby’s ideal home would be with an individual, couple, or family that will give Scooby the love and attention she deserves for her senior years. Scooby’s foster describes her as very gentle and trustworthy. She would do well as an only dog or in a home with children and other dogs.

Scooby is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and is microchipped.
